Current status: Gmail read-only authorization, a minimal recruiting-mail read check and refresh-token verification have completed. Recruiting-mail tracking and the Pending Updates queue remain disabled until the updated data-handling disclosure is published and the owner enables scanning. No email sends or mailbox modifications are supported. Production publishing does not mean Google has verified the application or guarantees permanent access.

Job Collector Gmail Read Only is a private tool for managing one person's own job search. It is intended for personal use by its owner and is not offered to the public or to other users.

What the application is for

The application is designed to help the owner keep a tracker of job applications up to date by reading job-related email in the owner's own Gmail account.

Google access

The application requests only one Gmail OAuth scope: gmail.readonly.
It does not send, delete, move or modify email, and has no feature that does so.

Recruiting-mail tracking

Gmail tracking is disabled by default. A separately consented application-detection feature can find recruiting receipts even when no Tracker jobs are marked Applied. Only an explicit submitted/received application with a unique high-confidence match to an existing job can automatically record Applied. Interview, rejection, review and offer changes remain pending your confirmation. Read privacy revision JC-GMAIL-TRACKING-V1.1 before opting in. No private email content is sent to external AI.
